The Stone Estate

What we did

From initial understanding of the brand, the creation of a new strategy. Development of a visual identity on to website design, user testing, social media and PR.
The development of a new website and a new name: The Stone Estate. We selected the new name as it retains a reference to the roots of Al'stone'field (the location of the business). The stone is a signature feature of their cottages and references the stone landscape that defines the White Peak area of the Peak District. We have retained their leaf icon and type style to keep visual continuity with the current identity as we understand the importance of consistency for returning guests. The Stone Estate will also be endorsed by Alstonefield Manor to help transition previous guests to the new branding. As part of the rebranding, we also identified some opportunities to leverage their USP of having a selection of cottages within a very small area, unlike most letting agents' listings scattered across the country or region are individual cottages. So it's not just about a hide-away for two or four but a 'cluster of cottages' providing opportunities for larger groups of family or friends. This means they can leverage the potential for multi-cottage group bookings across the portfolio, which we know from research is a market growth area. Another area of differentiation is the curated look and feel of the cottages, which reassures guests of quality across the portfolio that only a few exclusive agencies can offer. The website was built on Webflow, to support large databases of information about the cottages and the local area. This in conjunction with the investment of both local & international domains will boost SEO by 5000%! We also looked to leverage the brands social media accounts with high quality photography and the creation of viral reels to increase reach and brand awareness.
